IceGators announce concession deals
October 2, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators, Quintess Catering and the Cajundome have announced three concession packages to run throughout the 2003-04 season. The three packages are the Family Four Pack, the Season Ticketholder Item of the Game and a Birthday Party food offer.
The Family Four pack consists of four 300-level tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs, all for the low price of $44. That's 30 percent off the regular prices. Family Four Packs must be purchased through the Cajundome Box Office, which is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. through the game on event days.
"We are extremely excited about the âFamily Four Pack,'" said IceGators general manager Brian Kelley. "We are family entertainment, and this way families can come to our games for an even more affordable price. Parents will know exactly what they are going to spend on a night out, including food."
For the second season in a row, the IceGators will also be offering a Season Ticketholder Item of the Game at the concession stands.
"The Season Ticketholder Item of the Game adds more value into an already value-filled season ticket," said Kelley. "We want to thank Quintess Catering and the Cajundome for making one of our season tickets even more enticing to buy."
The IceGators will also now offer food for birthday parties. Children attending the birthday parties can get a hot dog or chicken nuggets and a soda, cookie and bag of chips for just $5. This can be ordered when ordering a birthday party through the IceGators office.
"Once again this will allow parents to better know what they will be spending their money on," said Kelley. "It's an option that we expect a lot of birthday parties to take advantage of."
Louisiana opens the season at Mississippi on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:35 p.m., before the Sea Wolves make a return trip for the IceGators' home opener Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7:05 p.m. Individual tickets, starting at just $10 for adults and $9 for kids (ages 2-12 in any level) are now on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets. Opening Night will feature a Chris Valicevic jersey retirement ceremony. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are also on sale now and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423.
