
Chiefs Re-sign Forget and Manzano/ Goaltender Campbell Signed

Johnstown, PA- Johnstown Chiefs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Toby O'Brien announced today that they have re-signed last seasons leading scorer Dominic Forget along with defenseman Ian Manzano. The Chiefs have also signed goaltender Cory Campbell and have invited rookie forward Ryan Priem (PREEM) to training camp.
Forget, 22, appeared in 70 games for the Chiefs last season scoring 23 goals and a team high 62 points. Forget finished the season with the Cleveland Barons (AHL) where he appeared in two scoreless games. The 5'9, 170 LBS native of Ste. Julie, PQ played four seasons in the QMJHL with the Shawinigan Cataractes. In 208 games with Shawinigan, Forget scored 120 goals and 222 assists (342 PTS). He is currently attending training camp with Cleveland.
Manzano, 26, saw action in 43 games for the Chiefs last season scoring 3 goals and 15 points. The 6'1, 190 LBS native of Dorval, PQ also played in 26 AHL games for the Saint John Flames last year scoring a goal and 6 points. Manzano played collegiate hockey for Clarkson University (ECAC). In 134 career games for the Golden Knights, Manzano scored 9 goals and 23 assists (32 PTS). He is currently attending training camp with Cleveland (AHL).
Campbell, 22, played 12 games between Fort Wayne and Missouri in the United Hockey League last season. He was 6-1-0 with Fort Wayne along with a 2.26 GAA and a 0.905 save percentage. In four games with Missouri, he was 2-2-0 with a 3.28 GAA. Campbell backstopped the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL in 2001-02 where he was 21-15-3 in 41 games along with a 3.10 GAA and a 0.912 save percentage. The 6'0, 190 LBS native of Stratford, ONT was the Los Angeles Kings 3rd round draft pick (92nd overall) in 1999.
Priem, 23, is coming off his senior season at Boston University where he scored 2 goals and 3 points in 28 games. The 6'1, 210 LBS native of Minnetonka, MN played in 85 career games for the Terriers scoring 2 goals and 5 points along with 64 PIM.
