October 2, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Devils News Release

Trenton, NJ - The Trenton Titans Professional Hockey Team announced today that they have signed right wing Bryce Cockburn and defenseman Ryan O'Keefe to contracts for the 2003-04 season.

Cockburn was a standout with Northern Michigan the last four seasons. Last year he totaled 38 points in 41 games. Cockburn's 21 assists were a personal best, and his 38 points were third among Wildcats' players. He was named the CCHA Offensive Player of the Week on March 10th thanks to his third career hat trick in a 4-1 win over Notre Dame just two days earlier. In his four-year career at Northern Michigan, Cockburn totaled 63 goals and 56 assists in 148 games.

O'Keefe was acquired over the summer from Pensacola and should provide plenty of toughness on the blue line. Last season he appeared in 70 games, 64 with the Ice Pilots, totaling a goal, 17 assists and 224 penalty minutes. O'Keefe's 216 penalty minutes with Pensacola were second on the team.

Cockburn and O'Keefe give the Titans seven players under contract this season. They join forwards Scott Bertoli, Devin Rask, Joe Rybar and Matt Zultek, and defenseman Vince Williams as players who have inked deals for the 2003-04 season.

Full season and partial ticket plans are on sale now by calling the Titans' ticket office at (609) 599-9500. The Titans begin "Five Years of Riveting Hockey" sponsored by St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center on Friday night October 17th at 7:30 pm against the Reading Royals at the Sovereign Bank Arena.
