Blades Add Five More To Camp Roster

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced today the Everblades AHL affiliate Lowell Lock Monsters have reassigned three players to Florida including goaltender Daniel Boisclair and defensemen Matt Pagnutti and Jared Neuman. Lowell has also released forward Roberto Bissonette. Forward Brent McDonald has also signed a two-way contract with the Lock Monsters but will likely spend time with the Blades this season.
McDonald, who has spent the better part of his first three professional seasons with the Everblades will likely return to Florida for a fourth year. The Olds, Alberta native saw action in 52 games in Lowell (AHL) last season and registered 15 points.
Bissonnette, who was in the Lock Monsters training camp and is a first year professional, was released by Lowell today. The 23 year old rookie forward will join the Blades camp on Monday.
Boisclair returns to Florida for a second season after recovering from an illness a year ago. The second year netminder will join Jeff Maund between the pipes this season for the Blades.
Defenseman Jared Neuman also returns to the Blades for a second season after a foot injury sidelined him for most of the season last year. The Michigan native joins Matt Pagnutti on the blueline who was also reassigned by Lowell on Thursday.
The Everblades open their 2003-04 Training Camp on Monday, October 6th at 11 AM at TECO Arena. The entire training camp schedule is listed below.
