
IceCats Loan Two from St. Louis

Worcester, MA- It was announced this afternoon by the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL) that defenseman Christian Laflamme and goaltender Cody Rudkowsky were loaned to the Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League (AHL).
A native of St. Charles, Quebec, Laflamme appeared in 62 games with the IceCats last season, recording two goals and 17 assists: 62(2/17/19). The St. Louis Blues signed the 6'1", 206 lb defenseman as a free agent on August 21, 2001. Originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, the left-handed defenseman has yet to appear in a game for the Blues this season.
The 6'1" Rudkowsky made his NHL debut with the Blues on October 24, 2002 in Edmonton, earning his first NHL victory. The native of Willingdon, Alberta has appeared in 74 games for the Worcester IceCats over the last three seasons, registering 28 wins, 25 losses and 11 ties. The former 1999 Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year was originally signed by the St. Louis Blues as a free agent on March 25, 1999.
Center Daniel Tkaczuk was reassigned by St. Louis to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League on November 4th. Tkaczuk registered 10 goals and 27 assists in 75 games with the IceCats last season.
The 'Cats have posted a 3-1 record in their last four games and are 5-4-1 overall. Their next home game is Wednesday, November 13th at 7:05 PM against the Saint John Flames.
