Moose players visit Wal-Mart to raise funds for Yearling Foundation

Today the Manitoba Moose announced that six players will be visiting Wal-Mart this Sunday, November 10 and assisting in raising funds for the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation. The players will be on hand from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Wal-Mart located at Kenaston and McGillivray.

Forwards Jimmy Roy, Fedor Fedorov, Jeff Farkas, Brandon Reid and defencemen Darrell Hay and Rene Vydareny will be present during the visit. Moose mascot Mick E. Moose will also be on hand to meet and greet fans. While at the Wal-Mart Kenaston location, the players will be available to sign autographs and have their pictures taken for a small fee. All the proceeds raised from the photographs and the hot dog sale will be donated to the Yearling Foundation.

The next Yearling Foundation event will occur on Tuesday, November 19 when the Moose hold their annual Tip-A-Moose Dinner. Tip-A-Moose will be held at Earl's restaurant at Polo Park and will feature the full Moose team serving people to raise funds for the Yearling Foundation. Tickets are available by calling the Moose office at 987-7825.
