Mike Souza Assigned to Bridgeport

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that left wing Mike Souza has been assigned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. Souza appeared in five games for the Admirals this season, recording two goals and two assists (four points), seven penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating. In 146 career games with Norfolk, Souza posted 66 points (36+30) and 109 PIM.

The Admirals play a home-home series with the Philadelphia Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers) tonight at Norfolk Scope at 7:15 p.m. and again tomorrow, Friday, November 1 at 7:05 p.m. in Philadelphia. The team then travels to Binghamton to face the Senators (Ottawa Senators) on Saturday, November 9 at 7:05 p.m.
