Columbus Recalls Right Wing Matt Davidson

Syracuse, NY (November 7, 2002) -- The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Jackets have recalled right wing Matt Davidson. Davidson, 25, appeared in eight games with Syracuse this season recording five goals, three assists and six penalty minutes.

Last season Davidson appeared in 47 games with Syracuse, recording nine goals, eleven assists and sixty- four penalty minutes and appeared in 17 games with Columbus, recording one goal, two assists and ten penalty minutes. A native of Flin Flon, Manitoba, Davidson was acquired by Columbus in a trade from Buffalo on June 23, 2000. Syracuse returns home on Friday, November 8 against the Chicago Wolves and Saturday, November 9 against the Wilkes- Barre/Scranton.

Rugrats' Tommy and Chuckie will be on hand for Saturday's game to hand out coloring sheets and meet fans.
