SAN ANTONIO, TX - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Wednesday that the Blues have assigned goaltender Ville Husso to the San Antonio Rampage.

Husso, 23, had been called up to the Blues on Monday. The Blues fourth-round pick in 2014 did not see game action during his time in St. Louis. The Helsinki, Finland native has appeared in seven games with the Rampage this season, posting a 1-6-0 record with a 3.19 goals-against average, an .887 save percentage, and one shutout.

Husso was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team in 2017-18, after going 15-14-0 with the Rampage and recording a 2.42 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage.

The Rampage begin a four-game road trip on Friday when they face the San Jose Barracuda at SAP Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 9 p.m. CT, with the game available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
