Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Wednesday that the club has reassigned Brookfield native goaltender Troy Grosenick to the Admirals.
Before his recall, Grosenick was off to a 3-0-0 start with the Admirals this season, recording a 2.60 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in three games. It's Grosenick's second season with the Admirals - he played in seven contests with the team after being acquired from San Jose on Feb. 25, 2018, going 3-4-0 with a .911 save percentage.
Never drafted, Grosenick is in his sixth professional season and has posted a 91-60-16 record in 178 AHL appearances to go along with a 2.60 goals-against average and 13 shutouts. He has played in two NHL games with the San Jose Sharks - stopping 55 of 58 shots faced - and pitched a shutout in his League debut on Nov. 16, 2014 at Carolina.
Grosenick and the Admirals finish off their five-game homestand by hosting the Rockford IceHogs on Friday night at 7 pm at Panther Arena. It's the annual Jockey Being Family Teddy Bear Toss where fans can bring a stuff animal and throw it on the ice after the Ads score their first goal. The bears will then be collected and donated to local police departments for use with kids in stressful situations.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550, or online at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com.
