San Antonio, TX - The Abbotsford Heat earned a 3-1 win in San Antonio scoring three unanswered goals in the third period.

Abbotsford's goals were scored by rookies Ryan Howse - on the power play - and Dustin Sylvester while veteran defenseman Clay Wilson potted an empty-net goal to seal the win for the Heat. Sylvester, Krys Kolanos and Paul Byron all figured in on the scoring as they returned to the Heat line-up after recovering from illness, being reassigned from Calgary and recovering from injury respectively.

Danny Taylor made the start in goal for Abbotsford and turned aside 32 Rampage shots to earn his 17th victory of the season.

Abbotsford will face the Houston Aeros tomorrow night before finishing their current four-game road-trip Monday against the Texas Stars. Faceoff tomorrow is 5:35PM PDT with the pre-game show at 5:15 on Country 107.1, theAHL.com and via the Rogers Radio App on your wireless device.
