Third Annual Pooch Party Is Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The third annual Pooch Party, presented by the Humane Society of Charlotte, is this Sunday, March 18, when the Checkers host the Norfolk Admirals at 3 p.m.

Fans can bring their dog to the game to enjoy an afternoon of dog-themed entertainment. Additionally, pet-related businesses and non-profit organizations will occupy the main concourse with information and pet products.

In two previous events, more than 650 dogs attended and $4,500 was raised for the Humane Society of Charlotte. For information on how fans can bring their dog to the game, please visit www.gocheckers.com/pooch.
