Hartford Yard Goats Announce 2016 Schedule

HARTFORD, Conn - The Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, has announced its schedule for the 2016 season. The Yard Goats will begin their inaugural season on Thursday, April 7 (7:05 PM) against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants affiliate) at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Downtown Hartford. Opening Night will kick off a 4-game series against the Flying Squirrels and be part of a 7-game homestand which also includes a series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays affiliate). The Yard Goats will conclude the home portion of the regular season on Sunday, August 28 against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals affiliate) and finish the season with an eight game road trip in Richmond, Virginia and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The Yard Goats will entertain the Red Sox farm club, the Portland Sea Dogs with visits in April, June and July. The Yard Goats will host the Yankees farm club, the Trenton Thunder for two series (6 games) in May and August. In addition, the Yard Goats will play seven home games against the Binghamton Mets in July and August. Fans will have the opportunity to see the Yankees and Red Sox affiliates in back-to-back series from May 31 through June 6 when Trenton and Portland make up the Yard Goats 7-game homestand. The Yard Goats will battle the Mets and Yankees farm clubs during a 7-game homestand, July 4-10.

Hartford Yard Goats Season Tickets are now on sale on-line (www.yardgoatsbaseball.com) or by calling 860-224-8383. Fans can select from Field Box, Front Row Field Box, Stadium Club, Home Plate Club and Home Plate Swivel seating sections to enjoy every game from the same terrific seat. Those purchasing Season Tickets will have the opportunity to come down and select their individual seats at a private Season Ticket Holder event in the spring. Field Box Season Tickets start at $710 per seat or only $10 per ticket per game.

In addition to great seats, with great views, in the greatest Minor League Ballpark in the country, Season Tickets will also include special ticket holder benefits, amenities, events, and exclusive offers.
