
Hartford Assigns Jackson to Greenville

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced defenseman Dallas Jackson has been assigned to Greenville from Hartford. In addition, forward Ben Power and defenseman Jordan Ciccarello have been released.
Jackson, 25, made seven appearances with the Road Warriors to begin the season and earned three assists, the most among Greenville defenseman during that span. He was called up to Hartford on November 2nd and produced 10 points (1g, 9a), 18 penalty minutes and a +4 rating in 43 contests with the Wolf Pack. On January 4th, Jackson was signed to an American Hockey League (AHL) contract after spending the first two months on a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
A fifth-year pro out of the Western Hockey League, Jackson spent all of last season in the AHL, splitting time between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Springfield Falcons. In 53 games with the Sound Tigers, the Edson, Alberta native recorded 24 points (3g, 21a) and 36 penalty minutes. In four outings with the Falcons, he added one assist and served two penalty minutes.
Overall, Jackson has amassed 39 points (4g, 35a) and 66 penalty minutes in 126 career AHL games with the Lake Erie Monsters, Sound Tigers and Falcons. In addition, the 6'2, 205-pound defenseman has recorded 56 points (16g, 40a) and 141 penalty minutes in 139 career ECHL games with the Road Warriors, Reading Royals and Gwinnett Gladiators.
Power notched seven points (2g, 5a), six penalty minutes and a -6 rating in 24 contests with the Road Warriors this season, while Ciccarello tallied one assist and a -1 rating in seven games.

This Saturday, March 7th, the Road Warriors will rematch against the Everblades at 7:00 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a blue Warriors mesh hat courtesy of FOX Carolina and WESC 92.5. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to meet ECHL Hall of Fame Inductee and Commissioner Emeritus, Patrick J. Kelly as well as get an up close look at the ECHL's championship trophy, the Kelly Cup! Fans can meet Mr. Kelly, get autographs and have their picture taken with one of the ECHL's true icons and the trophy named in his honor!
True Blue Weekend wraps up this Sunday, March 8th when the South Carolina Stingrays visit Greenville at 3:00 p.m. The Warrior Fun Pack will also be available for this matinee game and fans can take part in this season's final post-game skate with the team!
