
Forward Greg Wolfe Returned to the Aces from Iowa

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces, three time Kelly Cup champions, announced today that rookie forward Greg Wolfe has been returned to the Aces from his professional tryout offer with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.
Wolfe, 24, returns to Alaska currently second among ECHL rookies and on the club with 48 points (17g-31a) in 44 games. Among league rookies, he is second in assists (31) and tied for first in power play points (14), shorthanded assists (2) and shorthanded points (4).
Among all Aces, he leads the club in plus/minus (+15), is tied for second in power play goals (5), is second in power play assists (9) and third in shots (141).
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward earned one assist and two penalty minutes in nine games with Iowa, making his AHL debut after signing a PTO agreement with Iowa on Feb. 11, 2015.
The native of Canton, Mich. made his professional debut last season with the Reading Royals, scoring three goals in seven games and appearing in three Kelly Cup Playoff games. He previously skated in 147 career games at Michigan State University (NCAA), collecting 89 points (35g-54a) and served as captain of the Spartans during his last two seasons.
UPCOMING GAME INFORMATION
The Aces return to play Wednesday, Mar. 11, hosting the Colorado Eagles to open a three-game series at Sullivan Arena, starting at 7:15 p.m. (GCI/KFQD). Friday and Saturday, Mar. 13-14, the Aces will host a St. Patrick's Day emphasized weekend featuring event themed promotions and giveaways. The Aces will wear a specialty "Celtic inspired" jersey, available for bidding to all fans in attendance after Saturday's game.
