
Everblades Storm Past Cyclones 3-0

ESTERO FL - Andy Iles stopped all 25 shots faced to lift the Florida Everblades to a 3-0 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones Wednesday night at Germain Arena.
After a scoreless first, the Everblades got on the board at 4:47 of the second period. Mike Little directed a shot that was stopped by Cyclones netminder Rob Madore. The puck hopped up in the air and was swatted at in mid-air by Adam Brace. Brace batted the puck into the net behind Madore to give Florida the 1-0 lead.
Late in the middle frame, Litte set up the "ËBlades second goal. Little fired a shot from the point that was tipped and redirected into the net by Mitch Wahl to extend the Florida lead to 2-0.
In the third, Andy Iles continued to leave the Cyclones spinning, turning aside every shot that came his way.
The Everblades tacked on an empty net goal from Alex Lavoie to secure the 3-0 victory. The game marked the sixth time the Everblades have shutout an opponent this season.
Iles earned his second career shutout stopping all 25 shots faced. Madore was sharp, but takes the loss allowing two goals on 30 shots faced.
Florida will now hit the road for a three-game weekend road trip which opens on Friday in Greenville. Game time is set or 7:00 p.m.
