Grrrowl Place Former Captain on Waivers

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that TYLER DEIS (center) has been waived from the organization. With the move, Deis will be available for any team in the ECHL to claim his rights prior to a 3:00pm deadline on Wednesday, or be classified as a free agent.

TYLER DEIS (6-0, 195lb.), served as captain for Greenville last season, and was an assistant captain this season. Tyler was second in points with the Grrrowl last season (24-38-62) in 72 games, and had the third most penalty minutes with 158. Deis has played in 271 professional hockey games.

In other transactions for the Grrrowl, BRIAN PASSMORE (Forward) will be in uniform on Tuesday night when the Grrrowl host the Mississippi Sea Wolves at 7:05pm. Passmore was received in a trade with Cincinnati on Monday afternoon.
