
San Diego's Koenig Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. â The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended San Diego goaltender Trevor Koenig for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 180 at Long Beach on November 15.
At the conclusion of the game, Koenig threw the broken portion of his goal stick as he was exiting the ice surface. Koenig was assessed a game misconduct under Rule 88(c).
Koenig is suspended one game under Rule 33(a) Supplementary Discipline.
Koenig will miss San Diego's game vs. Fresno (Nov. 19).
