Grizzlies sign two locals

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach Jason Christie today announced that forward D.J. Jelitto (JEHL-ee-toh) and goaltender Seth Libby have been signed to tryout contracts for the 2005-2006 training camp that opens Sunday in West Valley City.

Jelitto, a native of West Valley City, joins the Grizzlies camp after playing junior hockey out of state for the past three seasons. During the 2003-2004 campaign, he finished fourth in the NOJHL in scoring and was named the league's player of the week twice, all while leading the Soo Thunderbirds in scoring. His younger brother Nick is currently playing junior hockey.

Libby, a goaltender from Weber State, comes to Grizzlies camp after three years with the Wildcats. His younger brother Cole is currently playing hockey for Weber State.

Training camp practices are open to the public and will be held at the Acord Ice Center; visit www.utahgrizzlies.com for times.
