Grizzlies Sign Pair of Defensemen

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that the team has signed defensemen Chase Ryan and Mike Reddington.

Ryan, a rookie, totaled two goals and a plus-three in 34 games with the Stockton Thunder this season. He played four games for Stockton against Utah. Previously, he played three seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Reddington, 20, signs a professional tryout agreement after just completing six years of junior hockey in the WHL. He had 5 goals and 18 assists for 23 points and 99 penalty minutes in 68 games this past season with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In 2007-2008, he was part of the Spokane Chiefs club that won the Memorial Cup.

Utah returns home Wednesday to host Las Vegas. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
