Stingrays Sign Wisconsin Captain Sean Dolan

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that forward Sean Dolan has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Dolan, 23, joins the Stingrays after completing his senior season at the University of Wisconsin. While with the Badgers, the St. Louis, MO native recorded 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points in 143 games. Dolan served as the team captain during his final campaign and netted a collegiate career-high seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 41 contests. Before jumping to the NCAA, Dolan skated for three seasons in the USHL with the Indiana Ice, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Chicago Steel grabbing 58 points (32g, 26a) in 157 games. Dolan was also a member of the USA Hockey 18 & Under Junior Select Team and won bronze at the 2006 Viking Cup in Camrose, AB.
