Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce the reassignment of forward Justin Taylor from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Taylor, who was reassigned to Bridgeport on February 27th, will look to extend his K-Wings' five-game point streak, tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23rd, as the K-Wings host the Cincinnati Cyclones in the first of two Education Day games at Wings Stadium.
Face-off this Wednesday is slated for 10:30 a.m. and the game is presented by RxOptical, Bounceland, Edison Electric and Putter's Family Fun Center.
On the season, Kalamazoo is 8-2-1-1 versus Cincinnati this season, which includes a victory over the Cyclones in their morning school game. Cincinnati enters the week in third place in the North Division, two points behind the second place Wheeling Nailers.
In 31 games this season, Taylor has recorded 21 points (5 goals, 16 assists).
In a separate transaction, the K-Wings have placed defenseman Joe Charlebois on the 21-Day IR.
Following tomorrow's contest, Kalamazoo will finish the week with a three-game road swing, which will start this Friday, March 25th against the Trenton Devils and conclude with games Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March 27th against the Elmira Jackals.
