Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce their "Pay as We Play" packages for the playoffs.
On Sunday, the K-Wings earned their second straight Kelly Cup playoff berth with a 4-2 victory over the Wheeling Nailers. Individual playoff tickets will go on sale this Monday, March 28th at 10 a.m. However, fans that want to participate in the K-Wings "Pay as We Play" playoff packages can purchase their tickets immediately. Current season ticket holders have until Monday, March 28th at 6 p.m. to reserve their seats for the playoffs. Season Ticket holders and fans can reserve their same seats for each round of the playoffs, but they will only be charged round-by-round.
This is full 2010-11 playoff ticket commitment for all 15 potential home playoff games but the K-Wings are only going to charge "Pay as We Play" playoff package holders on a round-by-round basis.
In the past, in order to reserve their same seats for the entire playoffs fans had to purchase their entire tickets for all potential playoff games up front. Now, instead of having to purchase the entire potential 15 game playoff strip ticket package, fans can purchase their same seats round-by-round this season provided that a valid credit card is used and that we have their credit card on file.
If/when the K-Wings win a specific playoff round; fans will be immediately billed via their credit card for the maximum number of home playoff games for the very next round.
Should a fan not want to participate in our credit card based "Pay as we Play" Playoff Ticket Package option they can still reserve their same seats for all 15 potential home playoff games by paying in full for those tickets.
With either playoff strip ticket payment option, for any home playoff games not played, fans will have the choice of applying that money to their 2011-12 Season Tickets or receiving a refund. That refund would be a credit back on their Credit Card account or by check if they pay in full by cash or check. Tickets for round two/Conference Semi Finals would go on sale on Friday, April 8th, round three/Conference Finals tickets would go on Sale, Friday, April 25th and Kelly Cup Final tickets would go on sale on Friday, May 9th.
Tickets for the K-Wings first round playoff home games will range from $12.90 (Blue Level) to $17.90 (Red Level). Seats for kids 12 and under will cost $9.90. Ticket will increase $1 on day of game purchases. Discounts are also available for groups of 15 or more people. The K-Wings also announced that starting this Friday, March 25th fans can reserve their seats for the 2011-12 season. Season ticket and Flexi plan holders that want to reserve their seats for the same price they paid for during the 2010-11 season need to place a deposit between from March 25th through April 15th.
A $50 Deposit per ticket is required along with a K-Wings Monthly Summer Payment Plan and all Season Tickets must be paid in full by October 1st. Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
