Grizzlies Re-Call Konopka and Peters

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that center Zenon Konopka and forward Warren Peters have been re-called from the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies ECHL affiliate.

Konopka, turned 23 on January 2nd, is second on the Steelheads with 28 points (6-22 -28) and tops on the club with 82 penalty minutes. The Niagara Falls, Ontario native scored his first Grizzlies goal on December 3rd in a Utah victory over Houston. On the season, Konopka has played two games with Utah.

Peters, 21, played in 15 games with Utah this year scoring a goal and adding an assist with 25 penalty minutes. In 19 games with Idaho, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native has scored six goals with seven assists in 33 games.

The pair of forwards will join the Grizzlies in time for their game Wednesday night in Chicago versus the Wolves. Face-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM (mst).
