THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS...

The MANITOBA MOOSE (Vancouver) are currently 6th in the North Division with 36 points and have a 15-17-5-1 record... The Moose are on a two game unbeaten streak (1-0-1-0) and are coming off a 4-2 win over the Utah Grizzlies. The Moose are 7-7-3-0 on the road this season and are 3- 4-3-0 in their last 10 games... Manitoba is ranked 19th in the AHL while on the powerplay at 13.8% and are 22nd when killing penalties at 84.2%... The Maple Leafs are 2-2-0-0 against Manitoba this season... This will be the last appearance for the Moose at Mile One Stadium this season... Center Brandon Reid has the hot hand for the Moose recording 12 points (2G,10A) in his last 10 games. Reid also leads the team with 30 points (9G,21A) in 30 games this season... Center Brandon Nolan has six points (3G,3A) in his last five games.

The TORONTO ROADRUNNERS (Edmonton) are currently 7th in the North Division with 31 points and have a 12-18-5-2 record... This will be the first meeting between both teams at Mile One Stadium in franchise history... The Baby Leafs have not lost to the Roadrunners in three contests so far this season. The last time these two teams met, Jan. 2, St. John's defeated Toronto by a score of 4-2... The Roadrunners are 6-11-2-2 on the road this season and are currently on a two game unbeaten streak (1-0-1- 0)... Left winger Jamie Wright leads the Roadrunners in scoring with 26 points (11G,15A) in 37 games... Center Chad Henz has the hot hand for Toronto tallying eight points including four goals in his last 10 games.

The St. John's Maple Leafs are 12-2-0-0 when they lead by 2 goals and are 11-2-1-0 when leading after 2 periods.

The Baby Leafs are 14-3-1-1 when scoring three or more goals.

NEXT WEEK'S OPPONENTS...

The St. John's Maple Leafs face off against the Chicago Wolves for the last time this 2003-04 season next Wednesday, January 14 at the Allstate Arena.

The Baby Buds will be looking for an undefeated record this season against the Milwaukee Admirals When they play next Friday, January 16 at the Bradley Centre.

St. John's will face the Grand Rapids Griffins next Saturday, January 17 at the Van Andel Arena. The Leafs will be seeking their first win against the Grifins this season.
