Manchester Monarchs News Release
MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will make several community appearances this month. Center Jerred Smithson and defenseman Bryan Muir will be at David R. Cawley Middle School in Hooksett on Tuesday, January 13 from 12-1 p.m. to speak to the students about setting and achieving goals as part of Monarchs Goals For Success program.
The Monarchs are throwing a party for the kids! All members of the Monarchs Kids Club are invited to hang out with the players at the Verizon Wireless Arena from 6-8:30 p.m. on Monday, January 19. The kids will get to meet their favorite players, get autographs, tour the arena and tour the locker room.
Defensemen Joe Rullier and Tomas Zizka will be at the JFK Ice Arena on Wednesday, January 21 from 4:45-6 p.m. to sign autographs and help with the Manchester Flames Squirt 2 youth hockey practice.
Left wing Noah Clarke and right wing George Parros will help with the Laconia youth hockey practices and sign autographs at the Laconia Rink from 5:45-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21.
Center Yanick Lehoux and right wing Pavel Rosa will be at the JFK Ice Arena from 6:15-7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21 to help with the Manchester Flames Squirt 3 youth hockey practice. The players will be available to sign autographs after the practice.
The Monarchs will hold their third open practice of the season at the Everett Ice Arena in Concord on Tuesday, January 27. The players will practice from 6:15-7:15 p.m. and will be available to sign autographs following practice.
The Monarchs will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for the first time ever on Wednesday, January 7 at 7:05 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs will then travel to Portland to face the Pirates at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, January 9. The Monarchs next return for back-to-back home games against the Lowell Lock Monsters on Saturday, January 10 at 7:35 p.m., and the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday, January 11 at 4:05 p.m. The first 5,000 fans attending Sunday's game will receive a free Ryan Flinn Bobblehead collectible doll, sponsored by Pepsi.
