Columbus Recalls Center Mark Hartigan

Syracuse, NY (January 6, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Mark Hartigan.

Hartigan, 26, appeared in 32 games with Syracuse this season, recording 14 goals, 12 assists and 31 penalty minutes. Hartigan made his Columbus debut on October 22, 2003, without recording a point. He was named Sher-Wood player of the week for the week ending January 4, after tallying seven goals and one assist along with a plus-8 rating as the Crunch went 3-0-1-0.

Syracuse hosts Hershey on Friday, January 9 for East Syracuse Crunch Ice Scraper Night. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Crunch ice scraper, courtesy of East Syracuse Chevrolet. Saturday, January 10, the Crunch host the Rochester Americans.
