The Situation

The Grizzlies return home to open another five-game home stand starting Friday and Saturday when they will host San Francisco.

Home Stretch

Utah continues a stretch of playing 10 of 13 games at home Friday. Utah is 4-2-1-1 at Maverik Center this year.

Goaltending

With Igor Bobkov recalled by Anaheim and assigned to Norfolk after Friday's game and Aaron Dell currently on loan to the Los Angeles Kings AHL affiliate in Manchester; rookie Ben Meisner is currently holding down the goaltending situation for Utah. Meisner's numbers continue to be outstanding as he holds a 2-2 record, a 1.77 goals-against-average and a .927 save percentage; including his first professional shutout in a 3-0 win Saturday in San Francisco.

Last Week/Overall

Meisner started three of Utah's four games last week and stopped 70 of 73 shots for a .958 save percentage and a 0.990 goals-against-average. Going back to last season when he joined Utah out of college, Meisner is 6-2-0-3 with the Grizzlies; posting a 2.31 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage.

Shutouts

Grizzlies goaltending now has two shutouts in their last seven games after Aaron Dell had a 24 save shutout against Ontario in a 2-0 win on November 11.

Paquette Leads The Way

Danick Paquette scored two goals and one assist last week in four games to lead the Grizzlies in scoring. Both of his goals were game-winning goals in the Grizzlies two wins.

Plus-Plus-Plus

Teigan Zahn was on the ice for all three Utah goals Saturday in San Francisco, marking the first time this year that a Grizzlies player has recorded a plus-three in a contest.

Matching Up

The Grizzlies are 5-4-1-1 against everyone in the ECHL except Stockton whom they are 0-3 against. However, the Grizzlies have played all three games in Stockton and have led 2-1 going to the third period in two of the three games. Utah has beaten every other opponent that they have played this year except Las Vegas; who they earned a point for an overtime loss against on October 23. Bakersfield and Alaska are the only two Western Conference teams on their schedule that they haven't played yet.

Close Games Continue

The first two games of this past week's road trip were tied in the third period, which ran Utah's stretch to seven-straight games tied in the third period and 10 of 11 overall.

Attendance

The Grizzlies are averaging 5,302 fans-per-game through eight games this season, which is currently on pace to be their highest average attendance since 2003-2004.

Tape To Tape

Saturday's game marked the first time since opening night that the Grizzlies grabbed a first period lead and led the entire evening.
