Walleye Notes

- Week in Review! Toledo exploded offensively Saturday night in a 6-2 win over Evansville in the only game of the week for Toledo. Forward Trevor Parkes led the charge for the Walleye with a pair of goals and an assist on another.

- Offense is Alive! The Walleye have scored 14 goals over the last three games with a record of 1-1-1 in those games. Toledo had scored just 13 goals in the previous five contests (2-3-0).

- Packing the House! Saturday night's crowd of 8,000 was the third sellout this season for the Walleye in just five home contests. Toledo is third in the ECHL in average attendance with 6,985 fans per contest.

- A Couple of Firsts! Goaltender Jared Coreau turned aside 42 of 44 shots Saturday night to collect his first professional win. Coreau was 0-3-2 in his first five starts with the Walleye. Defenseman CJ Chartrain scored his first professional goal Saturday night. The 6 goals scored Saturday night was a new season high for the Walleye in goals scored for a game. The previous high was 4, set a few different times this season.

- Gametime! Toledo gets back into the swing of things with three games coming during the holiday week. Wednesday and Friday night the Walleye host the South Carolina Stingrays for a pair of games. Toledo was 0-2-0 against the Stingrays last season, being outscored by a total of 5-1 in those games. Saturday night, the Walleye head to Wheeling to take on the Nailers for the second time this season. Toledo won the first meeting 2-0 on October 26th.

- Promotions! Come celebrate the Holiday with the Walleye! Wednesday night features the Campbell's Soup Thanksgiving Food Drive. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game. That night features the annual Turkey Hat Drop happening after the first intermission! Friday is Black Friday with the Walleye with deals all throughout the Huntington Center during the game. The Cody Lampl bobble head will be the feature giveaway for the first two thousand fans through the doors presented by Huntington Bank and Buckeye Cablesystem. The first Hockey and Hops Beer Tasting event is also on Friday with a post game party with the players following the game! Visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information!
