One Dollar Tickets, and Teddy Bear Toss this Week

CONDORSTOWN - The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, return to the Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena, for two games this week, each with opportunities to help the less fortunate in Kern County.
They host the San Francisco Bulls on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for Canned Food Drive Night and the Stockton Thunder on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the legendary Teddy Bear Toss Night.
Tuesday vs. San Francisco, 7 p.m. - Canned Food Drive/Hunger Games Promotion
Bring 2 non-perishable food items for donation to the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter and get a ticket for just $1*Bring your movie ticket stub from any Maya Cinemas showing of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and get a ticket to the game for just $1*Game sponsored by La Preciosa 105.3 and Maya Cinemas
Saturday vs. Stockton, 7 p.m. - Teddy Bear Toss
Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game and when the Condors score their first goal, throw them onto the iceSee last season's Teddy Bear TossThe teddy bears will be donated to the United Way of Kern County for distribution throughout the community (approx. 50 different agencies will benefit from the event)Over 88,000 stuffed animals have been collected through this event in team historyNote: this will be the largest crowd of the season; fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and arrive earlyGame sponsored by 29 Eyewitness News, KERN 1180 AM and Three-Way Chevrolet and Cadillac *-plus arena facility fee
