Grizzlies Head To Victoria

The Situation

At 2-1, the Grizzlies have equaled their best start to the season since 2005-2006, which was their first year in the ECHL.

Scorers

Ryan Kinasewich (two goals, three assists), Brandon Scero (two goals, one assist), Mike Walsh (two goals, one assist) and James Sixsmith (one goal, two assists) are all averaging at least a point a game.

Shoot'em Up

The Grizzlies are currently second in the ECHL and first in the National Conference averaging 38.67 shots-per-game. The Grizzlies have increased their shot total in each of their first three games thus far. Ryan Kinasewich leads Utah with 18 shots through three games.

Scoring Breakdown

Despite being 2-1 and scoring 10 goals in the first three games, Utah has scored just one of those goals in the first period. Utah has scored six goals in the second period, two in the third and one in a shootout.

Power-Play

Mike Walsh has scored two of the Grizzlies three power-play goals this season. Ryan Kinasewich has assisted both power-play goals to Walsh and scored the Grizzlies other power-play goal.

Victoria

The Grizzlies and Salmon Kings meet this weekend for the first time since May 1st when the Grizzlies finished off Victoria 8-3 and in five games to advance to the National Conference Finals.

Next At Home

The Grizzlies return home Wednesday, November 5; Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8th to host Ontario at the E-Center. All three games start at 7:05 p.m. The 7th is the third annual "Pink in the Rink" for breast cancer awareness, the 8th is Veteran's Appreciation Night.
