
Grizzlies Fall to Aeros

West Valley City, Utah - The Houston Aeros came back with a vengenance on Thursday night after Wednesday's 4-3 loss to Utah taking the final game of the two-game set 4-1.
The Grizzlies started off the scoring when Matthieu Descoteaux scored off a pass from Gavin Morgan giving Utah a 1-0 lead at the 4:15 mark of the second period. The Aeros would come back late in the frame when Erik Reitz scored on a power play tying the game at one goal apiece. Just under two minutes later, the Aeros would take their first lead when Kyle Wanvig cleaned up a shot by Lawrence Nycholat giving Houston a 2-1 lead after two periods.
Houston would add to their lead in the third period when Wanvig scored his second goal of the game. Curtis Murphy would add an unassisted goal giving Houston a 4-1 lead which is where the game would finish.
The Aeros outshot the Grizz 42-31 as Corey Hirsch would make 38 saves in the losing effort.

Next Game: The Grizzlies will play Saturday in Hershey against the Bears. Face-off is scheduled for 5:00 mst.
