
Men O\' War Add Alexander Mathieu to Roster

Lexington, KY- Lexington Men O' War General Manager of Hockey Operations/Head Coach Jim Wiley announced today the team has added Alexander Mathieu to their roster. Mathieu will join the team tonight in Johnstown, Pennsylvania where the MOW will take on the Chiefs.
Mathieu is a 6-2, 177-pound center from Repentigny, Quebec. Mathieu spent the last three seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins' AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre Scranton. Last season, Mathieu recorded 1 goal and 8 assists for 9 points in 40 games. During his pro career, Mathieu has recorded 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points in 169 games.
The Men O' War are on the road this weekend. They begin their road trip tonight in Johnstown. After tonight's game, the MOW will travel to Greensboro to take on the Generals. The MOW finish the road trip with a Saturday game in Atlantic City against the Boardwalk Bullies. All games start at 7:30 p.m. The games can be heard on XTRA Sports 1580-AM with a pre-game show beginning at 7:15 p.m.
The Men O' War return home on Sunday, November 10, when the Johnstown Chiefs make their first ever visit to Rupp Arena.
