Internship Programs Available

AUGUSTA, GA— The Augusta Lynx are seeking two full-time internships. These internships will provide a valuable learning experience in the world of professional sports and will involve on-the-job training with extensive responsibility. All fulfilled internships will provide class credit where applicable.

A full-time Community Relations Intern is being sought for the Community Relations Department. This individual would be responsible for working on a daily basis with the Lynx Community Outreach Program, including scheduling and fulfilling player appearances, speaking engagements, and all general requests for player involvement in the community, as well as handling all donation requests.

A full-time Promotions Intern is also being sought for the Promotions Department. This individual would be instrumental in the creative development of game night entertainment, game night giveaways, and all on and off ice entertainment. Hands on experience with all aspects of the promotions department will range from and include handling of the blimp, game night music, Lynx Launcher, Lynx Head, and portable rink, and will require extensive physical labor.
