
Grizzlies End Chasers 4-Game Streak, 3-2

Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
FRESNO, CA - Omaha's 4-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday night, as the Fresno Grizzlies defeated the Storm Chasers 3-2 at Chukchansi Park.
Omaha took the lead in to top of the 2nd, as Ryan O'Hearn walked, Paulo Orlando singled, and Donnie DeWees singled O'Hearn home.
Frank Schwindel made it 2-0 in the top of the 3rd, drilling his 19th home run of the season.
Fresno plated a 2-out run in the bottom of the 3rd; Derek Fisher walked, and Jack Mayfield doubled him in. The Grizzlies then tied the game in the last of the 5th, as Jake Marisnick doubled, Derek Fisher walked, and A.J. Reed singled to plate Marisnick and knot the game at 2-2.
Omaha fell behind in the bottom of the 6th; Yordan Alvarez walked, Garrett Jacobs doubled, and with 2 out, Jake Marisnick doubled in the go-ahead run for a 3-2 Fresno lead.
Zack Lovvorn (L, 1-5) pitched 6 innings for Omaha; he allowed 3 runs, 8 hits, and 4 walks, while striking out 1.
Brady Rogers (W, 1-1) also tossed 6 frames for the Grizzlies, holding the Chasers to 2 runs on 4 hits, with 1 strikeout and 1 walk.
Sam Selman pitched a scoreless 7th inning for Omaha, and was also flawless in the 8th. He struck out 4 in two perfect innings.
But Omaha couldn't mount a late rally this time, as Rogelio Armenteros (S, 1) pitched 3 scoreless innings for the save.
The Storm Chasers (48-57) will continue the series in Fresno tomorrow night at 7:05 Central. LHP Jake Kalish (5-4, 3.06) will face Fresno's RHP Trent Thornton (7-7, 3.91).
