SAUGET, Ill. - The Gateway Grizzlies are pleased to announce manager Phil Warren and his coaching staff will direct the West Division on Wednesday, July 16th in the Frontier League All-Star game at GCS Ballpark.

Warren and his staff were chosen after having the best record (32-16) in the West Division after the completion of play Wednesday. Joining Phil on the staff will be his pitching coach Randy Martz, hitting coach Zach Borowiak, bench coach Mike Breyman and athletic trainer Geof Manzo.

This marks the second straight season the Gateway coaching staff is in charge of the West Division. It's Warren's third stint as an All-Star game manager. He also managed the game in his first year as the Gateway skipper in 2007.

"My staff and I are thrilled to get this chance again this year," Warren remarked. "We are looking forward to coaching the best players our division has to offer."

In addition, Warren announced that his closer Richard Barrett is one of three players he has added to the West Division roster. Santiago Chirino (Normal) and Michael Valadez (Schaumburg) were also added to the West roster.

This marks the second straight All-Star visit for Barrett. The all-time saves leader in Grizzlies history has a 1-1 record with a 1.42 ERA and 11 saves in 2014.
