
Grizzlies Assigned Chouinard From Canadiens

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have been assigned forward Eric Chouinard from the Montreal Canadiens.
Chouinard, 22, was a first round selection (16th overall) by Montreal in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
The 6-3, 204-pound Atlanta, Georgia native played 65 games with Quebec (AHL) last season scoring 19 goals and adding 23 assists with 18 penalty minutes. In his career, Chouinard has played in 13 NHL games (all with Montreal) recording four points (one goal and three assists).
