Reading Royals News Release
The team that Reading will get most familiar with this season once again, they met twice in the exhibition season. The Royals and Titans battled last Thursday and Saturday in Trenton and Reading, respectively. Trenton edged Reading in both contests by one goal. Thursday Kent Davyduke got the game winner early in the third period to preserve a 2-1 Titans victory and Saturday the Titan hero was Jeff Wilson who scored in overtime to hand the Royals a 6-5 defeat. Reading and Trenton will meet this Sunday of opening weekend for ECHL play at the Sovereign Center in Reading.

Friday, October 11 vs Wheeling Sovereign Center 7:05PM
GAME NOTES: The Royals and Nailers will square off six times this season. Four of the first six meetings will come in the first eight weeks of the season, with each team hosting two contests. .
Sunday, October 13 vs Trenton Sovereign Center 2:05PM
GAME NOTES: The Royals look to try and improve on their 2-7-1 record vs. the Titans from a year ago. This is a key Northeast Division match up. The Titans are 2-0-0 against the Royals in preseason this season.

GAME NOTES: The Royals first preseason test came against the Trenton Titans in Trenton, New Jersey. The Titans got an early 3rd period goal by Kent Davyduke to edge the Royals 2-1. The Royals lone goal came from Tom Rouleau. Jeff Sanger took the loss in net for Reading while Blake Stathos got the win for the Titans.
Saturday, October 5 vs Trenton Sovereign Center 7:05PM
GAME NOTES: The second and final preseason games saw the Royals and Titans meet again this time in Reading. A back and forth game that featured everything saw the Titans edge the Royals in overtime. Jeff Wilson got the game winner for Trenton. The Royals goals came from...Sam McCormick got the win in net for the Titans while Scott Fankhouser registered the loss.
IN THE COMMUNITY: The Royals face off the season tonight at Casa Grande with Royals Weekly and Royals Roundtable. Royals Weekly can be heard from Casa Grande live from 6-7 p.m. This week goaltender Scott Fankhouser and new ECHL president Bryan McKenna will be the guests. Royals Roundtable, the new Royals TV show on CN8, tapes from 7-8 p.m. Royals coach David Lohrei and goaltender Scot Fankhouser will be the guests at Casa Grande. Royals Roundtable airs on Tuesday on CN8 at 6 p.m.
Faceoff Luncheon is set for 11:45 tomorrow at the CEI Networks VIP Lounge in the Sovereign Center. The luncheon will feature Royals coaches and players.
The annual Season Ticket Holder Meet-n-Greet will be held at the Sovereign Center from 5-8 p.m. Season Ticket Holders will get to meet the team and get autographs plus pick up their season ticket holder gifts.
