GREENVILLE, S.C. – The East Coast Hockey League's regular season starts in four days (Friday), and the Greenville Grrrowl are prepared to defend their 2002 Kelly Cup Championship. Tonight marks the debut of The Icehouse Grrrowl Hour Live from Wild Wing Café from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on NewsRadio 950/1330 WORD Radio. Wild Wing Café, which is located at 15 West Washington St. in Greenville, will also host a "Meet and Greet" with the entire Grrrowl team during the radio show tonight.

"Wild Wings is the perfect setting for a live sports radio talk show", said Grrrowl Director of Communication and show host David Miller. "The downtown convenience and upstairs set-up at the restaurant gives us the opportunity to produce the best possible show for our fans and the listeners of WORD".

The Grrrowl Hour will air every Monday night at 7:00 PM when the team is in town. The show will feature weekly appearances by Grrrowl VP of Hockey Operations/Head Coach John Marks. Special guests and players from the Grrrowl will also be scheduled to appear at Wild Wings.

The Greenville Grrrowl start the ECHL regular season on Friday, October 11th at Charlotte (7:35 PM, WORD Radio; www.grrrowl.com). The home opener, which will feature the raising of the 2002 Kelly Cup Championship banner, is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th against the South Carolina Stingrays (7:05 PM).
