Ice Dogs Reduce Roster to 19

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ice Dogs have announced the following player transactions:

Released from training camp invite:

Danielle Dubé – Goaltender
Chris Carlson – Left Wing
Daniel Kim – Left Wing
Dominic Catanzarite - Defenseman

The Ice Dogs have 19 players on their current 2002-03 roster (three goaltenders, five defensemen and 11 forwards). The West Coast Hockey League permits teams to carry a 20-man roster with one 14-day injured reserve spot.

The Ice Dogs, who reached the playoffs the past six years, will open their seventh season on the road against the four-time Taylor Cup Champion San Diego Gulls on Sat., Oct. 12. The Ice Dogs will play two road games before their home opener on Sat., Oct. 26, against the Gulls at 7 p.m. at the Long Beach Arena.
