Grizzlies Announce First-Round Playoff Schedule

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies announced today their first-round playoff schedule with the Fresno Falcons. The Falcons officially became Utah's first-round opponent following their 4-3 shootout win over Stockton last night.

The Grizzlies 2008 playoff theme is "Clawing Towards The Cup."

Utah is a proud affiliate of the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

The E-Center will host games three, four and five* of the best-of-seven series Wednesday, April 16, Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. All playoff home games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Games one and two of the series and games six* and seven* if necessary will take place at Save Mart Center in Fresno. Game one will be Sunday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Game two will be Monday, April 14 at 8 p.m. The series will conclude with games six and seven if necessary Monday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 23 with 8 p.m. face-offs in Fresno. All times listed are for the Mountain Time Zone.

Playoff tickets for Utah home games are on sale now at the E-Center box office, www.utahgrizzlies.com and at any Smith's Tix Location.

The E-Center box office will also be selling playoff tickets this weekend following the Grizzlies games tomorrow, Friday and Saturday versus Stockton. Fans purchasing lower bowl tickets following the games will receive a free "Clawing Towards The Cup" t-shirt for every ticket purchased.

Game 2: Monday, April 14, Utah At Fresno, 8 p.m.

Game 3: Wednesday, April 16, Fresno at Utah, 7:05 p.m.

Game 4: Friday, April 18, Fresno at Utah, 7:05 p.m.
