April 2, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ (April 2, 2008) - The Trenton Devils have announced today that they will be hosting past players from the New Jersey Devils for an Alumni Game on Saturday, April 5th at Sovereign Bank Arena. The game pits former New Jersey skaters against the Lubers, a local men's team. Following the contest, fans can watch the Trenton Devils square off against the Cincinnati Cyclones.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Youth Golf and Academics Program. The program, which is based in Camden, is a nonprofit after-school program for inner city children. Former Phillies centerfielder Garry Maddox founded YGAP in order to help even the playing field between inner-city children and their more advantaged peers.

The puck drop for the contest is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. with tickets available at the door for $15. Those tickets will then be good for admission to the Trenton game that night, when the Devils take to the ice against the Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. in their season-finale.

Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the Devils game against Cincinnati can use those tickets to gain admission to the Alumni Game.
