West Valley City, Utah - Jason Christie's playoff bound Utah Grizzlies return to the E-Center tonight and Wednesday hosting the Bakersfield Condors. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. both nights.
The Grizzlies have won eight of their last ten games played on E-Center ice with an average of 7,364 fans cheering the team on in their previous two Friday night games played at the former Olympic venue.
ECHL playoff veteran Joe Dusbabek, acquired in a trade from Phoenix just one day prior to the trade deadline, returned to the Utah lineup Saturday after being injured in his first Utah game March 15 versus Alaska.
Ryan Kinasewich is currently second in the ECHL with 36 goals scored, while the Grizzlies continue to carry three of the ECHL's top four players (Brad Herauf 339, Colt King 284, Brent Henley 275) in terms of penalty minutes.
Playoff hockey returns to the E-Center next Thursday (April 13th) and Friday (April 14th) as Utah begins their run for the Kelly Cup. All playoff games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Playoff ticket packages are on sale now by calling (801) 988-PUCK.
