Dayton Bombers News Release


*Welcome to Dayton! Last week, the Bombers signed Rookie Dan Knapp out of the Ohio State University. Knapp already has 2 points (1G, 1A) in his first 3 games with the Bombers.

* The Three Amigos! The line of Andy Cote (4), Paul Kelly (7) and A.J. MacLean (4) has combined for 15 points in their last four games.

* Power Surge! The Bombers power play is starting to heat up, having scored at least one power play goal in each of the last two games.

* Bombs Away! Paul Kelly set a season high for most shots taken by a Bomber in a single game with his 10 on Friday Night, as the Bombers out shot the Chiefs 44-21.

* Thank You Fans! This Saturday April 8th vs. the Wheeling Nailers will be Fan Appreciation Day, as the Bombers lace $B!F(Jem up for the final time in the 2005-2006 season. A special check will be presented to the Ronald McDonald House in the amount of $6,000 dollars raised from the McDonald$B!G(Js (JJersey Auction$B!D(J Bombers equipment manager Peter Bureaux will also be honored for taking part in his 500th regular season professional game with the Bombers, and an autographed stick signed by the entire Columbus Blue Jackets team will be given away as the second Chuck-A-Puck prize that night as well.

* IMPORTANT WEEK AHEAD! Dayton returns to the ice this Friday to play their final road game of the 2005-2006 season, as they head out to Reading, Pennsylvania to take on the Reading Royals. Then on Saturday, the Bombers return home to play their final game of the season against the Wheeling Nailers at the EJ Nutter Center.

DROPPING DAYTON NOTES

- The Bombers are 10-7-3 when leading after the first period of play and 9 of those 10 wins have come at home.
