
Wranglers battle for first place in last week of regular season

Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 0-2-0 record for the week starting with a 2-1 loss Tuesday night to Stockton at the Orleans Arena. Friday night, the Wranglers were defeated 3-1 by the visiting San Diego Gulls.
This Tuesday, Las Vegas will play their final road game of the regular season at 7:11 pm in Phoenix. The Wranglers will return home to host Long Beach Friday and Phoenix Saturday at 7:05 pm. The first 2,000 fans on Friday, April 7th receive a puck courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings. Saturday, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game Party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the Stockton Thunder 2-1 on Tuesday night in front of 4,288 fans at the Orleans Arena. Thunder defenseman Aaron McInnis scored at 9:24 of the third period to lift Stockton to victory. Wranglers' winger Dan Tudin tallied his 33rd goal of the season in the loss, as Las Vegas fell to 26-4-3 at home. Stockton's Mike Lalonde netted his 28th of the season, ending the Wranglers four-game winning streak.

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated 3-1 by the San Diego Gulls in front of 6,467 fans on Friday night at the Orleans Arena. San Diego goalie Michael Mole made 44 saves in the win. San Diego center Steve Hildenbrand scored a goal and added an assist as the Wranglers fell to 26-5-3 at home this season. Wranglers' forward Charles Linglet scored the lone goal for Las Vegas.
Crampton and Linglet Back, Pardy and Tudin to Omaha
The Wranglers announced on Thursday the return of Charles Linglet from Peoria. He played 38 games this season in the AHL, totaling 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points. The 23-year old winger played in 12 games with the Wranglers this past December. With Linglet in the lineup, the Wranglers posted an 11-0-1 record from December 2nd to December 27th. Linglet scored three goals and added eight assists for 11 points, as well as adding 15 penalty minutes during his time in Las Vegas.
Friday, the Wranglers announced the return of Steve Crampton from the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL. Crampton was held scoreless in two games, while adding four penalty minutes. Crampton returns to Las Vegas as the team's fourth leading scorer with 18 goals and 28 assists for 46 points in 50 games played. The 23-year old still leads the team with 136 penalty minutes.
Las Vegas Wranglers leading scorer Dan Tudin was loaned to the AHL's Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights on Saturday. Tudin leaves Las Vegas with a team-high 33 goals and 44 assists for 77 points in only 65 games played. Tudin is the Wranglers all-time leader for goals, assists, and points. For his career, the 27-year old winger has 71 goals and 93 assists for 165 points in 197 pro games. He made his AHL debut on Saturday for Omaha, posting four shots and no points.
Defenseman Adam Pardy was recalled to Omaha on Wednesday. The rookie appeared in a total of 19 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during five different stints this season. He is still looking for his first AHL point. He has 14 penalty minutes in that time. In 41 games with the Wranglers, the native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has one goal and 11 assists for 12 points and 55 penalty minutes. The six-foot-four defenseman completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). Pardy was the Calgary Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

Long Beach Ice Dogs - (36-25-9, 81 Points) - Las Vegas is 3-1-0 against Long Beach this season, outscoring the Dogs 13-12 over that span. Long Beach is battling for second place in the Pacific Division. Center Christian Larivee leads Long Beach in scoring with 23 goals and 39 assists for 62 points in 65 games played.
