Friday, March 12, 2004 vs. Milwaukee Admirals

Time: 7:30 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).

Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $10, $12, $17, $20, $25 Family Four Pack Night: The Family Four Pack offers fans four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and a choice of either parking or a $10 gift certificate to The Zone for just $44. Meet Mike Vernon: Two-time Stanley Cup champion and former Detroit Red Wings goaltender Mike Vernon will sign autographs for fans in the arena lobby prior to the game. Mouse Pad Giveaway: The first 3,000 fans will receive a Griffins mouse pad, courtesy of Re/Max. Third Jerseys: The Griffins will wear their alternate red jerseys, modeled after those of the Red Wings. GAHL Championships: During an intermission, Mike Vernon will present trophies to the regular season champions and runners-up of the Griffins Amateur Hockey League. Foremost 500: The finals of the wacky tricycle race will occur during one of the intermissions. The winner will be awarded the grand prize which includes a 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic gift package courtesy of Foremost, a platinum car wash from Waterworks Auto Wash, an oil change/tune-up/system flush, a $20 gift certificate for Brookstone at Woodland Mall, a $25 gift certificate to Bistro Bella Vita and a hockey puck courtesy of the Griffins. Throw for Dough: Throughout the night, fans can purchase red balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, a target will be placed at center ice. Fans can throw the balls at the target for a chance to win up to $5,000. Hat Trick Friday: If a Griffins player scores a hat trick, all hat purchases made at The Zone on the day of the game (up until the hat trick is scored) will be refunded. Post-Game Skate: The ninth Stouffer's Post-Game Family Fun Skate will take place. Fans who bring their own skates can hit the ice at Van Andel Arena for 45 minutes after the game. Instant Money: T-Mobile presents "The Instant Money Goal" for each home game during the 2003-04 season. Fans can register on the concourse before each game, and if the Griffins score a goal within the game's first 30 seconds, a name will be drawn to receive an instant $1,000. If the Griffins do not score within the first 30 seconds, a randomly selected entrant will win a T-Mobile cellular phone.

Trading Spaces Night: One of the carpenters from the hit TLC television show "Trading Spaces," Traverse City native Carter Oosterhouse, will meet fans in the lobby of the arena prior to the game, thanks to Stock Building Supply. Additionally, one lucky fan that enters a contest on the concourse will win $1,000 in cash and prizes toward a room makeover. GAHL Championships: All five of the GAHL Division Final games will be played during the day, from 7:45 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from 1 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Participating teams can be found by visiting griffinshockey.com and following the GAHL link. The on-ice trophy presentations to the 2004 GAHL Playoff champions and runners-up will be held during that night's Griffins game. Kids Station: Visit the Peter Piper Pickles Kids Station on the concourse, where kids can get an airbrush tattoo or have their face painted, courtesy of Peter Piper Pickles.
