Lowell, MA - The Lock Monsters announced today that they will celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 13th when they host the Worcester IceCats at the Tsongas Arena.

Lowell's own "Irish" Micky Ward will be on hand to take part in both pre and post game ceremonies. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Micky Ward bobblehead doll, courtesy of Budweiser. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:00 pm. Ward, most recognized for his boxing series with Arturo Gatti, will drop the ceremonial first puck to start the game and will take part in a post game autograph session with fans in attendance.
