LW Ahren Nittel totaled a career-best three (2-1-3) points on Sunday in Philadelphia and now has four points in the last five games after going scoreless through his first 33 pro matches. The Albany River Rats earned their biggest win of the season, 7-1 over Springfield on Wednesday. C Eric Johansson set a personal and team/season-high with four assists, while LW Tuomas Pihlman set a career best with three (1-2-3) points. LW Joe Hulbig picked up his 100th goal as a professional on Wednesday night versus Springfield. His 31 (14-17-31) points are the most since he netted 46 (22-24-46) points for Hamilton during the 1998-99 campaign. D Krisjanis Redlihs became the second defender in River Rats history to post a hat trick in Wednesday's 7-1 home win over Springfield. He joins Edmonton Oilers captain Jason Smith, who accomplished the feat during Albany's inaugural 1993-94 season.
