Gornick Recalled From San Diego

Syracuse, NY (April 5, 2005) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled center Brian Gornick from San Diego (ECHL).

Gornick, 25, has appeared in 67 games with San Diego this season, recording 23 goals, 23 assists and 60 penalty minutes. In 78 career AHL games, all with Cincinnati, Gornick has tallied 3 goals, 5 assists and 26 penalty minutes. A native of St. Paul Minnesota, Gornick was selected by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the ninth round, 258th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Syracuse returns to action to against Manitoba. Game time is 8:30 p.m. (E.S.T.). The Crunch returns home to face Rochester on Saturday, April 9.
