Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that the baseball club has acquired outfielder Tyler Graham from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks for a player to be named later and placed outfielder Tim Smith on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting his release.

Graham, 29, reached the Major Leagues last year with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He appeared in 10 games, mostly as a pinch runner, and had two at-bats. He's hitting .250 with 11 RBI in 29 games this season between York of the Atlantic League and Fargo.

Of his seven seasons in affiliated baseball, which were mostly with the San Francisco Giants, Graham played parts of four seasons at Triple-A. He has stolen 228 bases during his career, including 60 with Triple-A Fresno of the Pacific Coast League in 2011.

Smith hit .254 with a home run and six RBI in 21 games with the Goldeyes this season.

The Goldeyes have 21 players on their active roster, including 10 pitchers and 11 position players.
